It has been brought to my attention that version 2.9+ of uCalc FMP is now harder to use with LabVIEW than version 2.0. uCalc FMP was designed with direct support for Borland C++ Builder, Delphi, PowerBASIC, Visual Basic, VB.NET, and VC++. However, no special considerations were made for LabVIEW.

The main problem seems to be that in this version, most of the routines are defined in the include files for various compilers, instead of being exported from the main DLL file as before. The solution then might be to create a wrapper DLL that exports all the routines from the include file. The following link is for such a file. The zip file has a DLL that exports the routines mainly as found in the PowerBASIC include file for uCalc FMP 2.91.

I need feedback from LabVIEW users regarding this DLL file.

If you are not familiar with uCalc FMP, it is a math parser that lets you evaluate expressions that are defined at runtime; it has an Eval routine (ucEval), and a ucParse / ucEvaluate combo that can let you rapidly evaluate expressions millions of times in a loop. It has a number of built-in functions and operators. Plus it lets you define an unlimited number of your own functions, operators, variables, constants and more. For additional details, click on:

The file was revised. If you have downloaded it before this second message, please download again. The first time the routines were exported in all caps.
